Andres, a resident of the Portland Metro Area, has spent a considerable amount of time around the pool as a lifeguard and swim coach. While pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Portland State University, Andres became a member of Viking Motorsports, serving as a test driver. His passion for engineering led him to become a founding member of the Baja SAE Team, where he took on the role of Frame Engineer. Known for his hands-on approach and eagerness to learn, Andres joined NWESI as an Assistant Engineering Technician in June 2024. He holds certifications as a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) and Six Sigma White Belt. In his free time, Andres enjoys spending time in nature with his dogs and designing and building vehicles, including spaceships.
