NorthWest Engineering Service, Inc. (NWESI) is excited to announce we’ve moved into our new headquarters. Our office is now located at 8700 SW Creekside Place in Beaverton.
The two-story building features over 30,000 SF of space with NWESI headquarters occupying the entire 2nd floor and an additional office suite located on the 1st floor. The building backs up to a wetland park and pond, providing a serene setting for employees and clients to enjoy.
The purchase of the new building represents a substantial investment in the company’s future growth and financial stability. Thomas Prevish, President of NWESI, says the idea to purchase our own building came up a few years ago at the annual shareholders meeting. He says, “Employees were asked how they wanted to spend our money. It was really important to management that the decision was a benefit to our employee owners and not just those who use our main office.” NWESI has several offices located throughout the Pacific Northwest and this provides one centralized location for companywide meetings, trainings, and events. It also allows the company to save money on leases and invest in our own space.
The building is currently under renovation with improvements being made to the interior and exterior. The interior includes new paint and flooring, multiple conference rooms, an open kitchen, lounge area, wellness room, indoor bike rack, additional storage, and updated facilities. Modifications to the outside include new lighting for security, paint, sidewalks, and landscaping.
