The new LEED Silver certified 35,600sf, two-story health and wellness center includes 32 exam rooms, 2 multi-purpose rooms, 2 group rooms, 2 labs, a pharmacy, optical department, a large dividable education/multipurpose room, a teaching kitchen, and an outreach department for the community.
Scope: NWESI commissioning involvement started near the end of the design phase. The commissioned systems included all HVAC equipment, components, and controls; domestic hot water and lighting controls. The HVAC system featured two rooftop heat recovery air handlers connected to downstream VAVs providing 100% OSA to a VRF heat pump system with fancoil units serving all spaces.
