This project involved the renovation of the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Facility at Portland International Airport. This facility sits around 22,000SF, and is home to the ARFF which is a training and facility area for aircraft-related accidents. Portland International Airport had NWESI perform commissioning of the HVAC and electrical systems.
Scope: Replacement of an existing chiller, replacement of an existing boiler with two new energy efficient boilers, replacement of existing heating & chilled water pumps, replacement of heating water control valves for existing AHUs and terminal units, and electrical upgrades.
