The renovation of the Vollum Institute on OHSU’s Marquam Hill campus is dedicated to research for neurological and psychiatric disease treatment.
The renovation involved replacing the building façade that had persistent water leakage issues with a new metal skin, new fluid applied water barrier, new windows, carbon fiber reinforcement of the concrete structural members, replacing mechanical equipment, improvement of a few interior spaces, and renovating the greenhouse laboratory.
