Madison Middle School serves 785 students in grades four through six. It received Testing, Adjusting and Balancing to ensure all students and staff were comfortable in their environment, and the school systems were operating correctly.
NWESI scope: The scope of work included design objectives for the air system VAV boxes and the primary/secondary hydronic loops, chiller and pumps. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for this middle school was initially provided by eight hydronic heating and cooling AHU’s and two fan coil units. The heating/chilled water system was provided by centrifugal pumps operating a lead/lap configuration and supplying water to each of the air handler cooling coils and VAV reheat coils.
