Kootenai Health offers the most care services in northern Idaho, because of this more and more people are going to this facility. Due to the growth of patient population, Kootenai expanded its busy emergency department and surgical service area by 7,000sf.
The East Expansion was a Cx project that consisted of a 3-story addition—2 floors of buildout and a 3rd floor shell. The OR remodel consisted of 3 phases of operating room additions and remodel of existing OR’s. The Emergency Department underwent 3 phases of remodel, and addition of new trauma and patient rooms. There was also a remodel of the Pharmacy and Doctors lounge.
Scope of TAB work included: variable volume AHU serving VAV terminal units, exhaust fans, heating water system, and domestic hot water recirculation, among others.
