Evergreen Middle School was one of three school additions and remodels on existing middle school facilities, paid for by a $169M construction bond approved by Hillsboro School District voters. A 14,600sf addition contained a new entry, office, counseling area, and three classrooms. Additionally, the old office space was converted into five classrooms and heating and cooling systems were replaced.
Scope: NWESI scope included TAB and Commissioning. Key contributions included correcting heating water valve installation and identifying broken shaft couplings on existing circulation pumps. Boilers, chillers, pumps, and cooling tower were also replaced.
