Tom joined NWESI in 2016, after working on energy and power generation projects for commercial and residential buildings for 18 years, with prior experience in the aerospace industry. Tom brings a wealth of people and technical skills he’s honed while working for both established corporations and fledgling startups, and enjoys the challenges and rewards of leading and helping develop the future of the company. He’s a registered Professional Engineer, has been an adjunct professor for local colleges, and devotes time promoting STEM careers to youth.
Tom and his wife raise free range kids and animals on their small farm and are active 4H volunteers. He has more hobbies than he has time for, but those currently receiving the most attention are camping (by foot, motorcycle, or truck) and Civil War re-enacting.
