Cassie Ruud

Cassie joined NWESI’s Business Development & Marketing team in February 2024 as a Proposal Specialist. She brings a robust background in journalism, communications, and marketing, in addition to technical writing. Cassie studied at Oregon State University, earning her BA in English Lit, and working at The Daily Barometer as a section editor. As a Proposal Specialist, she will find RFP and RFQ opportunities for NWESI to pursue, in addition to managing internal business development documentation. When she isn’t tracking down the latest RFP, you can find Cassie playing D&D with her partner, Noah, re-playing Skyrim for the 100th time, making something new in the kitchen, and being an overall food tourist when traveling.
