The Eugene Airport—Mahlon Sweet Field is a public airport located in Lane County, OR, just 7 miles Northwest of Eugene. The airport was named for Mahlon Sweet (1886–1947), a Eugene automobile dealer who strongly supported aviation and helped expedite getting both the Eugene Air Park built in 1919—(which no longer exists), and the current airfield built in 1943. This airport is the fifth largest airport in the Pacific Northwest and is owned by the City of Eugene.
Scope: AIR did the TAB in 1990 on the main terminal expansion for the City of Eugene. The system has numerous heating and chilled fan coil units. Since the original work, AIR has completed TAB on the Tower building and a small project on the latest terminal expansion.
