We are pleased to report that on April 15th at the CxEnergy conference, John Herboth passed the Energy Management Professional exam. He has thereby received the EMP credential that accompanies this achievement. Another feather in John’s hat! As you remember, he recently took Jerry Conner’s place as NWESI’s Responsible Managing Individual for our Construction Contractors Board License.
The Energy Management Association is a subsidiary organization of ACG, the AABC Commissioning Group. The EMP program is unique within the industry, combining the activities of Commissioning, Energy Management, and Testing, Adjusting and Balancing. This methodology enables the EMP to understand, address and achieve each client’s specific energy goals and building performance requirements.
Four core principles anchor this program:
- A Commissioning-Based Process
- Data-Driven Approach
- Optimum Performance & Efficiency
These principles are consistent with NWESI’s strategy to serve our client base by considering the overall intent and performance of systems in the built environment. This credential will be increasingly important as we develop our energy services, especially with respect to existing buildings. Vince, Dennis and I have also successfully completed the EMP program.
Nice Work John!
